The Challenge
Indoor skydiving is the simulation of true free-fall conditions in a vertical wind tunnel. It is a safe and exciting way to experience the unique feeling of flying without having to jump out of an airplane!
You will feel a unique sensation of weightlessness as you defy gravity during your flight. You will be assigned a certified flight instructor for your training and you will learn the proper body position for flying, as well as hand signals that the instructors will use when you are flying. For your flight you will be provided with a helmet, flight suit and goggles and your instructor will be with you during the entire flight experience. This means you can relax and enjoy it! There will be a declaration of risk form to sign prior to your indoor skydive.
When you have completed your indoor skydive, you will exit the flight chamber, de-gear and receive your personalised flight certificate. Photos and video footage of your flight will be included, giving you a lasting souvenir of this memorable experience.
Depending on the time of your indoor skydive, you will also enjoy either lunch or dinner at Alimentum, one of the best restaurants in Cambridge and where the menu is best described as Modern European.
Most of the core ingredients are sourced locally to be used in contemporary dishes, prepared with passion, integrity and originality. Slow cooking techniques are used to accentuate the flavour and texture, producing food that is full of vibrant flavours.
If you would like wine with your meal, you will be able to select from an extensive wine menu. An additional cost will be added to price of the excursion at the time of booking. An additional supplement will also be payable if you would like to pre-order a cheese board with your meal.
